About Me

I love tapping into my creative side and writing engaging and personal ceremonies for fun and interesting people!

Since moving back to Tasmania, I have been focusing on building a life in the south of this beautiful state, with my partner Daniel and my mini- schnauzer Barney. I still love being creative in the kitchen, but have wound that part of my life back a notch, instead focusing my creative efforts on helping couples create a memorable day in which to celebrate their commitment to each other in front of their most loved ones.

I hold a Certificate IV in Celebrancy, and am a proud tribe member of

The Celebrant Society, a professional association that is redefining ceremonies one amazing wedding at a time!

Having spent 13 years travelling interstate and abroad, returning to my native Tasmania has been like falling in love all over again; clean air, blue skies, and don’t even get me started on the wine…

My lifelong career in hospitality has seen me rise from a nervous waiter with zero experience to running a brigade of a dozen chefs… and loving every minute of the energy, the buzz, the ride!

My love of the industry has provided me with a colourful backstory of experiences that could fill a book or two, and one day that might just happen! From working with world famous chefs and clients, there have been intimate dinners in exotic locations, cocktail parties for 2,000 and everything in between...

Throughout these wildly entertaining and often comical events, celebration and commemoration have always been a core theme. But it has been the union of two people through marriage that has proven to be the most rewarding and heart filling part of my working life.
